NFAA or National Field Archery Association –  is the governing body for Field archery in the United States.

Founded in 1939, with chartered associations in all states. The NFAA is headquartered in Yankton, South Dakota. It is a member of the International Field Archery Association ( and a  nationally allied organization with USA Archery. It offers indoor and outdoor games similar to the World Archery format.  The outdoor rounds involve walking a course and stopping to shoot a set number of arrows over varying distances. Indoor rounds are 5 arrow ends at 20 yards. There is a league system and national tournament. Here is more on how these are played.
